Our printing techniques
Screen printing Screen printing is a traditional printing technique, in the plastics industry it is a marking with intense colors suitable for mass production.. Screen printing takes its name from silk, the material with which screens are made which serve as “stencils” for printing media.
It is a direct printing technique which consists of printing by depositing ink on the support according to the stencil principle.
It is a very old and very flexible process, which lends itself to an infinite number of applications including plastics, and to an industrial level of production.
Chosen for its flat color, its resistance to external aggressions such as UV, the variety of effects it can print and the diversity of supports it can mark: it is used for bulk and flat objects, and on large surfaces, flexible or rigid.
The advantages of Screen Printing.
It allows a strong ink deposit which guarantees not only intense colors that last over time but also good opacity: Gradients can be produced by the halftone effect. A very extensive colorful palette. It is economically attractive even for short runs. It allows the printing of supports of all kinds and not necessarily flat (bottles…)
What is IML? In Mold Labeling (IML) is a process that merges the label (with decoration and information) and packaging during the molding process.
A pre-printed polypropylene (PP) label is placed in a mold. This mold has he shape of the finished product. PLAST LIMITED The molten PP is then added to the mold. This fuses with the R980197 nd, during curing, takes the shape of the mold. The result: the label and the packaging form a single whole. The print quality of the IML gives an exceptional and lasting result.
